This guide walks you through everything you need to send your first AI-personalized outreach campaign with LinkInList. By the end, you’ll have a connected channel, an imported lead list, and an active campaign running — all in under 15 minutes. LinkedIn is used as the primary example below, but the same workflow applies once you add additional channels.

Sign up and start your free trial

Head to auth.linkinlist.com and create your account. Enter your name, work email, and a password, then click Start Free Trial. You’ll land directly in the LinkInList dashboard — no onboarding call required.

Connect your LinkedIn account

In the left sidebar, navigate to Accounts, then click Add Account. Select LinkedIn from the channel list and enter your LinkedIn login credentials in the secure connection form.As soon as you save, LinkInList automatically assigns a dedicated residential proxy to your account. This ensures all activity on your LinkedIn profile originates from a consistent residential IP address, keeping your account safe and your behavior looking human.
Never share your LinkedIn credentials with anyone other than LinkInList. All credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and are never accessible to third parties.
After completing your initial LinkedIn setup, you can add additional channels — WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Meta Ads, and Email — from Settings → Channels. Each channel unlocks new outreach options within your campaigns.

Let your account warm up

If this is a new or low-activity LinkedIn account, LinkInList will automatically begin a warm-up sequence. During warm-up, sending limits are intentionally kept low and gradually increased over several days to build a natural activity history.You can monitor warm-up progress on the Accounts page. The status badge will show Warming Up until the account is ready for full-volume outreach.
If you’re connecting an established LinkedIn account (one you’ve used actively for months or years), you can skip the warm-up phase and move straight to importing leads. The warm-up toggle is available in the account settings.

Import your first lead list

Go to Leads in the sidebar and click Import Leads. You have two options:
  • CSV Upload — Download the LinkInList CSV template, fill in your leads’ LinkedIn profile URLs (required) plus any additional fields like first name, company, or job title, then upload the file.
  • Sales Navigator URL — Paste a saved Sales Navigator search URL directly into the import field. LinkInList will pull the matching profiles automatically.
Once the import completes, your leads appear in the Leads table with their AI-generated buying intent scores (Hot, Warm, or Cold) populated within a few minutes.

Create a campaign

Navigate to Campaigns and click New Campaign. Walk through the campaign builder:
  1. Name your campaign — Use something descriptive so you can identify it later (e.g., “Q3 — SaaS Founders — East Coast”).
  2. Select your lead list — Choose the list you just imported.
  3. Choose a sequence template — Pick from connection request only, connection + one follow-up, or a multi-step drip sequence.
  4. Enable AI Personalization — Toggle this on to let the AI research each lead and rewrite the message templates with personalized details (current role, recent activity, company news, and more).
  5. Set daily limits — Configure how many connection requests and messages LinkInList sends per day on this campaign.
Keep your daily LinkedIn connection request limit between 20 and 30 per day when starting out, even on established accounts. This conservative pace mirrors natural human behavior and significantly reduces the risk of LinkedIn flagging your account for unusual activity. You can increase limits gradually once the account has built a healthy activity history.

Review and launch the campaign

Before going live, LinkInList shows you a preview panel with a sample of AI-personalized messages generated for the first few leads in your list. Read through them to confirm the tone, personalization quality, and calls to action match your expectations.If anything looks off, adjust your message templates and regenerate the previews. When you’re happy, click Launch Campaign. The campaign status changes to Active and LinkInList begins sending immediately during your account’s active hours window.

Monitor replies in your Unified Inbox

As leads accept your connection requests and reply to your messages, every conversation flows into the Unified Inbox — a single feed that aggregates responses across all your connected accounts and channels (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Email).Each thread shows the lead’s intent score and AI-drafted reply suggestions so you can respond quickly without switching context. Click any conversation to open the full thread, edit the AI draft if needed, and send your reply directly from LinkInList.
Leads scored as Hot are automatically surfaced at the top of your inbox and can trigger email notifications so you never miss a high-intent reply. Configure notification preferences in Settings → Notifications.
